What a whirlwind year! A wedding, a house move & a new dog!

Well!! what can I say?! WHAT A YEAR IT HAS BEEN!

So much has happened I don't know where to start! HAHAHA.

Last August (2022) we decided to try for a better work/life balance and hatched a plan to move to beautiful Cornwall as well as organise our wedding (for those that know me, you know I DON'T do things by half)

We had the most beautiful wedding day in October 2022 surrounded by our family and closest friends and while we were on Honeymoon we sold our house! WAY quicker than we had imagined!

We found a lovely home here in Cornwall and after renting for 6 months and camping ( yes, you read that correctly.. I camped for 2 weeks!!) until our home was built, we finally moved in in June this year.

I was so nervous but excited to set up my Makeup business down here from scratch after having 24 years' worth of clients in Scotland but I have been blown away by the kindness and amazing Cornish hospitality! I have connected with stunning venues, incredibly talented wedding suppliers and the most amazing Brides. I honestly feel SO lucky.

I have even made some lovely new friends and my surfing is coming along nicely too....!

About a month into our new life we decided to get a wee sister for Stanley so along came Miss Pheobe! She certainly keeps us on our toes and puts Stanley in his place.

I'm so happy we made the big move from Scotland to Cornwall and I am loving working as a Bridal Makeup artist down here...... My bookings are nearly full for 2024 and my 2025 diary is filling up fast! it's SO exciting.

I'm very much looking forward to meeting all my brides, suppliers and venues in the months to come!
