* BOOKINGS:

 

- To secure a date, a £100 booking fee is required. This is then deducted from the final balance. Until the deposit is paid, your date is available to other brides. The booking deposit is non-refundable for any reason (this includes acts of God, fire, pandemic, illness, and extreme weather) By paying your deposit, you are agreeing to my Terms & Conditions.

- I require a minimum of 4 people, including the bride, on any wedding day. In the case of a lesser number, the charge must still cover 4. This is due to my services being so high in demand. Additional appointments may be added to a booking at my discretion. Any changes must be emailed to karenfennermakeup@gmail.com. However, appointments cannot be subtracted once a booking is confirmed and scheduled.

- Bridal previews are held at my home studio in Hayle on a Monday to Thursday due to Weddings taking place on weekends. I offer these to the bride only. Bridal trials are around two hours long. If you can't make it in person, I offer a consultation Zoom call as a great alternative. This option is especially well-suited for destination brides who can't visit my Studio before their big day. Your Preview usually is 2-3 months before the wedding date. I highly recommend a trial (either in person or via Zoom) due to time restrictions on the wedding day. 

 

* TRAVEL FEES:

 

- The client must ensure parking is available at my working venue and cover my parking costs.

- Any toll costs/charges must be covered by the client.

 

- Any wedding location further than 40 miles from TR27 will require overnight accommodation for the night before the event. I will arrange this and add it to your final bill.  The client must cover any accommodation deposits if required. For any destination weddings, the client is responsible for covering all travel and accommodation costs for the artist.

 

* LIABILITY:

 

- All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitised between every makeup application. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist before application, and, if needs be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Karen Fenner, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

- I have the right to refuse any client who is suffering from compromised health that may be detrimental to myself, tools or products. (i.e., cold sores, conjunctivitis, etc.).

- I reserve the right to refuse service to any client who exhibits inappropriate behaviour, is disruptive or does not comply with my policies. This includes but is not limited to being under the influence of drugs or alcohol or displaying aggressive or disrespectful behaviour towards me. My goal is to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. You (the bride) will be responsible for replacing any items/ products from my kit that are damaged by you or your bridal party or touched or used without my consent.

 

- In the unlikely event that I must cancel your booking (i.e. sickness), I will do my utmost to find an equally skilled artist to replace myself. If this is not possible, a full refund of your booking fee will be made, and liability shall be limited to a full refund.

 

* PAYMENT:

 

- The final balance is due by cash, bank transfer, or contactless payment 4 weeks before your wedding date - No exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on the booking email. Your booking may be cancelled if the remaining balance is not received on time.  If you are booking within 8 weeks of the wedding date, full payment is to be made within 48 hours of confirmation.

 

* CANCELLATION POLICY:

 

- Cancellations must be made at least 6 months before the client’s reserved date, or the client will be responsible for paying the full amount of services agreed.
